Education / Skill Requirements:  A positive team attitude and creative project approach, as well as a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required.  AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, ESRI GIS, and Microsoft Office are required, but please list any additional software programs that define your proficiencies.

 

Responsibilities: Work with RJM project team members to design, develop, and refine drawings for land development projects.  Prepare plan documents according to established standards.  Develop solutions to technical problems.  Prepare design concepts, design development drawings, and construction documents including the preparation of presentation graphics and drawings.  Prepare landscape planting plans.  Work in the office and in the field to measure, monitor and check construction progress.  Assist with design take-offs and cost estimates for project budgets.

Technical Proposal Writer - Graphic Designer

Required Skills: 3 years demonstrated experience performing similar services with environmental, landscape, or architectural consulting firms. Proficiency in InDesign, MS Office suite (familiarity with Clearview infocus a plus). Graphic design and layout skills, and marketing material development experience.

Responsibilities: Duties include proposal coordination, development, delivery of RFP responses, presentations, development of statement of qualifications (SOQs), and other tasks as needed. Create documents that specifically address the requirements of the RFP/SOQ, cover the important concepts and terms, and are well crafted, convincing, and thorough. Interact with principals and project managers to compose proposal responses, develop proposal strategy, and pricing. Work independently as a writer and editor to create accurate and complete proposals and submit them to the appropriate reviewer in a timely manner. Conduct internal meetings with staff to discuss proposal strategy, progress, and action items. Establish and manage deadlines and coordinate with company resources to respond to RFPs. Develop marketing materials and assist in the coordination of short-list presentation materials, including formatting PowerPoint presentation slides, leave behind material, update resumes, cut sheets, and project references database.
