Erik is an invaluable team member here at RJM and settles for nothing less than perfection on his projects. With his keen eye for detail and exceptional project management skills, Erik was recently promoted to Associate. Erik earned his degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Serving as our in-house IT support, Erik is selfless when it comes to taking on additional assignments.

Joining us in 2021, Amanda brings a fresh outlook and thoughtful innovation to the RJM brand. Amanda graduated from Cal State University Fullerton in 2016 with a degree in Communication, and has held roles in both project coordination and marketing. The hybrid nature of Amanda's work experience and her spunky personality make her a great asset to the RJM team.

Courtney joined the RJM team in 2019 as an intern from the Cal Poly Pomona Landscape Architecture program, and has since become a permanent team member of RJM. Courtney’s positive attitude, technical skills, and adaptability to a variety of tasks have made her an invaluable resource to the office. She is also in the process of obtaining her license to become a Landscape Architect.

Amy joined RJM in 2022 as a CAD Technician with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture and Minor in Geographic Information Systems from Cal Poly Pomona. In her spare time, Amy is quite the plant enthusiast and also makes time for art through painting, drawing, sculpting, and more. Amy’s ability to fuse her artistic edge into her landscape designs has made her an asset to the RJM team.

A valuable addition to our staff, Tamara’s exuberance and perceptiveness make her wise beyond her years. Tamara is also a graduate of the Cal Poly Pomona Landscape Architecture program, and a member of the District 10 California Parks and Recreation Society, serving as a Program Committee and Awards Committee member.

David joined the RJM team in 2021 as a Landscape Designer with a degree from Cal Poly Pomona in Landscape Architecture. David's technical expertise and advanced skill level in Rhino, AutoCAD, Lumion, and other programs have made him a great resource for 2D and 3D design. David's bright personality and can-do attitude make him a pleasure to work with here at RJM.

Zachary is involved in all aspects of the office, from client interaction to technological advancement. Earning dual Bachelor’s degrees in Information Technology and Information Systems Management, before pursuing his Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, Zachary is now a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professional in addition to being a Certified Playground Safety Inspector. His unique journey through the ladder rungs of the firm have helped Zachary to develop a strong background in a variety of elements related to the profession.

Yen joined the RJM team in 2024 with a diverse background in administrative and accounting duties. Not only is she super efficient at keeping RJM's billing and payables running smoothly, she also keeps everyone in the office supplied and organized. Yen enjoys tennis, video games, art, and especially her cats.

Tyler is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona and his experience includes custom residential design in Orange County, Arizona, New Mexico and Hawaii. At RJM, Tyler has proven to be extremely knowledgeable in design and analysis. Earning his license while at RJM, Tyler has climbed the ranks and is now proudly counted as one of our practicing licensed landscape architects.

As the original hunter/gatherer of the firm, Larry has forged relationships with clients, professionals and community members over the past 30 years that reach beyond the business environment. As a graduate of the Landscape Architecture program at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, Larry is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, and is licensed to practice in California, Arizona, and Nevada. Targeting projects that advance the firm’s evolution and determined to provide superior service, Larry immerses himself in all aspects to ensure the RJM brand is well represented.

Sara joined the RJM team in 2022 with a Master of Landscape Architecture from Cornell University. Sara’s breadth of knowledge and technical skillset have enabled her to take on a variety of tasks with ease. With her optimistic attitude and unwavering determination, Sara is a pleasure to work with here at RJM. She is also in the process of obtaining her license to become a Landscape Architect.

Kristen has been an instrumental part of the RJM team since 2000. With over 20 years of experience, Kristen’s wide breadth of knowledge and positive attitude have made her the go-to gal at our office. During her time here at RJM, Kristen has worked her way up from office Receptionist to Project Manager on parks and recreation master plan projects. Kristen’s keen eye for detail and her ability to interpret complex data have made our reports second to none. As a member of the American Planning Association, Orange County chapter, she is committed to continuing her education to keep a pulse on current planning policies and trends.

Craig is a Principal at RJM and has a keen eye for design and a sense of scale that is second to none. Studying Landscape Architecture at California State Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, Craig has a background in Graphic Design and Construction Management, in addition to being a LEED AP and Certified Arborist. With his incredible graphic ability, Craig is able to clearly illustrate the finished product to clients with an unmatched level of precision and artistry.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Andy has a unique way of blending old techniques with modern design ideas. A graduate from the Landscape Architecture program at Rutgers University in New Jersey, Andy headed West and joined the RJM team after earning his license and becoming a Certified Arborist. Andy's resourcefulness and grit have made him an invaluable team member here at RJM.

Managing the team with gentle persuasion, Anita makes certain the office is happy and healthy. Anita earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at California State University in Fullerton, before pursuing a MBA at the Marshall School of Business at USC. Influenced by the outreach of our community workshop process, Anita developed an interest in design and received a Regional and Community Planning Certificate.
