Construction of the new Chino Hills Community Center in the vibrant Chino Hills community is underway. A groundbreaking ceremony for the first major community center in the City of
Chino Hills was be held on Thursday, November 15th at 4:00 p.m. at the McCoy residence at the McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center.
The 21,000 sq. ft. community building will be located on a 6.7-acre site adjacent to the historic McCoy Equestrian Center. A tree-lined pedestrian promenade will connect the McCoy Equestrian Center to the main entry plaza of the new community center. Over three acres of the site will be dedicated to a passive park with a circuitous, paved walking path, an exercise fitness station and seating areas for the public to exercise, play, and relax. A large open lawn area and covered pavilion off the southern patio of the community center will serve as a multi-purpose community gathering venue for weddings, parties and other special events.
