Dick Clark Dog Park

Burbank, CA

ANIMAL Facilities

The City of Burbank proudly introduces its first-ever dog park, a vibrant and thoughtfully designed space honoring the late American television and radio personality, Dick Clark. This expansive 2.4-acre park, located at the south end of Johnny Carson Park, offers a premier destination for dogs and their owners to play, socialize, and unwind. Nestled alongside the Ventura Freeway and Los Angeles River, the park features separate fenced areas for large and small dogs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for pups of all sizes.

Designed with both functionality and aesthetics in mind, the park boasts a mix of loose-fill and native meadow grass surfacing, internal decomposed granite walking paths, and inviting overhead shade structures. Outdoor seating areas, an entry gathering plaza with permeable pavers, and thematic gated entry vestibules create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. Exciting play elements, including a dog play mound, tunnels, and agility equipment, provide endless opportunities for exercise and fun.

Additional amenities such as drinking fountains with bottle fillers and dog bowls, pedestrian site lighting, a lighted parking lot, and EV charging stations ensure convenience and accessibility. The park is beautifully integrated into its natural surroundings, featuring mature sycamore trees, newly planted shade trees, native drought-tolerant landscaping, and decorative boulders. A striking entry monument sign marks this exceptional community space, making Dick Clark Dog Park a must-visit destination for Burbank’s dog lovers.
