RJM has completed numerous grant applications, successfully secured funding for projects, as well as assisted in the development of the project construction documentation. RJM has coordinated with city agencies to collect massive support and creative public input in design of new park facilities.

Mayberry Skatepark in Whittier is hosting it’s Grand Opening Saturday, February 1st from 11am-1pm, unveiling the much anticipated street and flow features.  RJM worked in collaboration with the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust to provide this facility to the community.

Tamara & Courtney, Cal Poly alums, represented RJM at the Annual Firm Day in the Landscape Architecture studio on campus.  They spoke with upcoming graduates about working as professional landscape architects.

The City of Chino Hills welcomed the public out to the unveiling it’s latest park next to Chaparral Elementary School.  RJM’s long standing relationship with the City has facilitated the creation of several parks throughout the community.

FINA Diving Grand Prix to be held at the newly renovated Marguerite Aquatics Complex.  Event will be hosted in the US for the 1st time in 6 years, from April 11th-14th.  We are so thankful to have been a part of this amazing project with the City of Mission Viejo.

Lake Forest is investing $7M to renovate 10 city parks. Conceptual design were recently approved by City Council members and final plans are being developed by RJM Design Group – a landscape architecture firm in San Juan Capistrano. To read more about these parks, the article is listed here.

Beginning a new era for Mission Viejo, the Marguerite Aquatics Center renovation is complete, welcoming back the world-renown Nadadores swim and dive teams to it’s facility.  See the OC Register article for more photos of the Grand Opening, and an earlier article on the construction process.

Los Amigos Park in Rancho Cucamonga was awarded the 2017 Helen Putnam Award of Excellence by the League of California Cities.  Last week, RJM attended the Conference and Expo in Sacramento, and was proud to receive the honor at the awards dinner.

The Blas Aguilar Adobe Museum and the City of San Juan Capistrano are set to kickoff their Grand Re-Opening Fiesta on August 26th.  It was a true privilege to work on this piece of history right here in our own backyard.

The Chargers of the NFL have moved from San Diego to Los Angeles, and RJM was responsible for designing their new practice facility in Costa Mesa.  We got to tour the facility, observe a practice, and meet with some players to top off a great project.

The City of Chino Hills has opened its latest park to the community, Pinehurst Park.  Offering open turf areas for recreation, a great play area, picnic shelters and a full basketball court, the residents are truly enjoying this new gem.

The County of Los Angeles has opened the Don Knabe Golf Learning Center is now open in Norwalk.  Check out the video produced by the City of Norwalk on YouTube.

We had a great time spending time, and a meal, with some of our best friends and colleagues within the industry.  Some relationships have extended for decades, while others are just starting to blossom.  The value we place in all of our clients is second to none.

The Sports Center Groundbreaking was held on April 25th, and construction is well underway on a multisport gym, café, and multi-purpose meeting room.

Rancho Cucamonga’s latest park includes exciting play areas, exercise stations, picnic areas, a full basketball court, and even a skate spot.

It was another successful Conference for us up in Sacramento, as we presented a few lectures, met some of our industry colleagues, and got the information on the latest equipment and products.
