The 500-acre master planned community of Bear Brand includes residential developments, recreational developments, common area slopes and streetscapes. A natural canyon was designed to fulfill State Fish and Game Mitigation requirements.

St. Catherine of Siena Church

The church and rectory occupy a beautiful, gently sloping site on the higher ground back from the highway and overlooking the entire city and a long section of ocean frontage.

San Marcos Fire Station #4

RJM Design Group worked with WLC Architects to develop a new fire station for the City of San Marcos to support a growing population.

La Quinta Fire Station

Irvine Valley College – Great Lawn

This outdoor addition to the campus grounds consists of an amphitheater-shaped turfed seating area with radial, terraced seat walls, concrete walks, handicap-accessible stage, spectator seating and light fixtures.

Hesperia Fire Station

RJM Design Group worked with WLC Architects on the development of a new fire station in Hesperia, California. The project had a central focus on sustainability including drought tolerant landscaping, stormwater retention areas, and drip irrigation.

Fremont Fire Station #8

RJM Design Group worked with WLC Architects on the development of a new LEED certified fire station in Fremont, California.

Fountain of Truth Church

RJM Design Group worked with WLC Architects on the Fountain of Truth Apostolic Church in Fontana, CA.

Escondido Police and Fire Station

RJM Design Group worked with WLC Architects on the development of a state of the art police and fire facility. The project includes drought tolerant planting, bioswales, and a “tribute plaza” that serves to honor police and firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty.

Culver City Fire Station

Carlsbad Fire Station #6

RJM Design Group worked with WLC Architects on the development of a new fire station in Carlsbad, California.

St. Peter’s Cemetery

RJM Design Group provided cemetery master planning and design documents and served as Prime Consultant on this large cemetery project for the Diocese of Fresno. The project included a large veteran’s memorial, an outdoor committal amphitheater for Funeral Mass and monthly worship events, a large reflecting pond with the Stations of the Cross and many special areas for honoring deceased family members in a religious setting.

Santa Rosa Memorial Cemetery

This 40-acre site was master planned by RJM in 2006 for a complete relocation of the cemetery operation over the next 10 years. The chapel, mortuary, sales and management offices, counseling rooms, and maintenance support activities are located toward the northwest of the project to take advantage of prominent views and access. The remaining land will be utilized for interment water features, with beautiful gardens, and fountains or sculptures as the focal points for each sector of the site.

Santa Maria Cemetery

The Santa Maria Cemetery Project included the Master Planning and Design for a new 30-acre site adjacent to the existing cemetery facility. As well as Construction Documents for Phase One.

The Master Plan consists of a gated primary entrance that incorporates raised stone planters and walls. The entry has a water feature as a back drop that leads to a stream bed, the stream bed also serves as a drainage collection device that flows to a large pond which sets up an overlook garden.

Freedom Courtyard

Freedom Courtyard is a memorial to the men and women of the Armed Forces. Design purposes for this project include: Creating a space for quiet and individual reflection on the invaluable service the Armed Forces and Veterans have provided to our country throughout history.

Florence Joyner Memorial at Olympiad Park

Florence Joyner Olympiad Park is a 22-acre park dedicated to Florence Griffith Joyner, the Olympic Gold Medalist who made her home in Mission Viejo, California. The amazing track athlete was titled the “World’s Fastest Woman” and after her Olympic career ended, she served as co-chair on the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

Fair Oaks Cemetery

This project is a large expansion of the existing Fair Oaks Cemetery which dates back to the 1880’s. The cemetery Board of Directors wanted to honor the families of US military servicemen and women, so they commissioned RJM Design Group to provide the design for the new expansion that would have a veteran’s memorial as the focal point.

El Toro Memorial Park

RJM Design Group has worked with the Orange County Cemetery District to provide design services for the El Toro Memorial Park site since 1998. This work has provided for a series of related projects in response to the growing needs of the demands of the South Orange County community. An overall master plan was developed at the outset to define the property’s overall character and organization.
